VSmart School is a one-stop teaching and learning platform that supports self-paced, teacher-paced, asynchronous, and synchronous formal education online.
Students will attend daily classes and access Vibal’s DepEd-aligned digital curriculum from preschool to senior high school, across all subjects.
Teachers can follow their students’ progression through the classes and will also have access to Vibal’s test bank and lesson plan repository mapped to the curriculum. Teachers can also live stream or conduct online classes securely from the platform.
VSmart School is compliant with DepEd Order no. 13, s. 2020
In preparation for an extraordinary SY 2020 where Filipino students nationwide will be learning while home-bound due to the COVID-19 pandemic, DepEd issued DepEd Order no. 13, s. 2020 stipulating the non-negotiable minimum requirements for the learning modality Online Distance Learning (ODL). In this modality, schools are required to have an education platform that contains complete Q1 curriculum-aligned content, ready-made assessments, and a helpdesk to support students, parents, and teachers.
Furthermore, schools are required to present a certification to DepEd attesting to their compliance with these requirements as part of their Learning Continuity Plan (LCP). Vibal will provide VSmart School subscribers with the required documentation to comply with DepEd.
Effective ODL with VSmart School and Vibal content
Despite the challenges involved, Online Distance Learning (ODL) can be as effective as traditional classroom-based learning if you combine a feature-rich learning platform and curriculum-aligned, expertly developed content. VSmart School is internally developed by Vibal's engineering team who work closely with our editorial and education teams overseeing our content and education programs to ensure that VSmart School's feature set and Vibal's content are thoughtfully aligned with the learner and teacher in mind.
VSmart's new out-of-the-box Webinar feature allows teachers and learning facilitators to stream class lectures and discussions or to hold virtual classes with their students, all within the secure platform of VSmart School. Teachers and students do not need to leave VSmart School to conduct classes or consultations on other videoconferencing platforms. Teachers can conduct classes or webinars instantly or schedule them in advance.

VSmart School Mobile
VSmart School Mobile allows students to access their courseware and e-books, take tests, attend virtual classes or download pre-recorded classes, on their mobile device. Teachers can also deploy lessons, modules, assessments, or stream a lecture on VSmart School Mobile. Users only need to go online to download or update content and then continue to access the content while offline. VSmart School Mobile comes with the VSmart School subscription.
VSmart Homeschool Management System (HMS)
VSmart HMS is designed for a home-based learning environment where students do not (or cannot) attend daily online classes and instead use modules and other printed learning materials, with teaching facilitated by parents and guardians. Teachers can assign parents and students with a list of lessons, performance tasks, assessments, and activities to complete for the day to ensure structured learning. Parents can monitor their child's daily schedule and output submission.

Training and Development
Education
Vibal has developed a series of self-paced courses for teachers, administrators, parents, and students to familiarize themselves with VSmart prior to orientation or whenever there is a major VSmart feature release or upgrade. We also maintain an extensive knowledgebase with video tutorials on how to use VSmart.
Onboarding
Vibal conducts a series of comprehensive onboarding sessions for school administrators, teachers, and parents prior to the deployment of the platform for school-wide usage. Additionally we train teachers to be VSmart Specialists, the school's resident experts and technical liaisons on VSmart.
Engagement
Vibal runs custom training programs for schools on writing modular courseware, ODL-ready lesson plans and assessments, and VSmart courseware integration with textbooks and other learning materials. We also conduct focus group discussions with school stakeholders to improve our service and feature development.
Helpdesk and Technical Support
Upon subscription, your school will be assigned a dedicated support engineer who will work with your account executive and our product management team to set up your school account and onboard you, your teachers, parents, and other stakeholders. Vibal account executives are trained to be familiar with VSmart and can address most of your technical queries, with a team of technical support engineers backing them up.
Queries and concerns regarding the system can be escalated to your account executive for immediate response. Or you may file a support ticket at our VSmart Helpdesk with a guaranteed turnaround time based on your Service Level Agreement (SLA).
